Our Mission

The Family Mediation Center is dedicated to helping families in Ohio navigate the challenges of divorce or dissolution with compassion, expertise, and an unwavering focus on the well-being of children. As certified mediators and experienced litigators, we strive to help couples avoid the trauma and expense of court proceedings by finding collaborative solutions that work for everyone involved. Our approach is centered on effective communication, active listening, and a commitment to helping our clients achieve their desired outcomes while protecting their children from unnecessary pain and stress.

Our Story

As experienced family law attorneys we know what can happen in family law courts and we have seen how unfair the court system can be. Instead of accepting this as the norm, we decided to take action and create The Family Mediation Center. We didn't want to see any more couples have to deal with the stress and pain of divorce, only to have to navigate a broken court system on top of it. We knew that divorce was hard enough already, and we wanted to help.

That's why we started our mediation center, focused on helping couples dissolve their marriages in a way that was as stress-free and amicable as possible. We understand the importance of communication between spouses and want to make sure that couples work together through the dissolution or divorce process so that their children will have minimal trauma surrounding it.

Our approach was different from what most people expected from divorce attorneys. Instead of encouraging our clients to fight tooth and nail in court, we worked with them to find solutions that were fair to both parties. We encouraged open and honest communication, and we helped our clients navigate the emotional complexities of divorce with compassion and understanding. Now we are bringing those skills to our Family Mediation Center.

We know that divorce is never easy, but we believe that it doesn't have to be a traumatic and destructive experience. We are committed to helping couples dissolve their marriages in a way that is as stress-free and amicable as possible, and we look forward to continuing to serve our local families for years to come.
